Supply Chain and Operations engineer

Description:

Maca Technology is recruiting a Supply Chain Engineer and Operations for the business line

Shenzhen, to make full responsibility for developing the necessary structure and processes related

to Sourcing, Suppliers Management a Purchasing and operations.

Responsibilities:

- Create the necessary structure and processes in Maca Technology Sourcing department, in

order to coordinate:

o Sourcing of new suppliers

o Supplier Qualification and Management, including new supplier introduction

documentation, supplier profile, supplier Qualification audits, supplier database and KPI

and information management.

o Tools, contract management and agreements to stablish long term relation with

consumer electronic suppliers

o Supplier RFQ process

o Supplier performance follow up

o Operations control: follow up MP production, samples shipment, arrange flights and

boats.

- Coordinate with Maca Technology PM Department, to make sure that components costs and

total costs are completely under control.

- Create the necessary structure and processes in Maca Technology Purchasing department, in

order to coordinate:

o Price and terms negotiations with suppliers

o Purchase Orders placement, review and follow up

o Development and Mass Production Payment Schedule follow up

- Coordinate with PM, Logistics and Finances departments, to ensure an optimum operations

structure to satisfy the cost and timing requirements, no matter the project type, supplier or

customer location and financial terms.

Background Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or higher, major in Engineering

- Proven +4 years working experience in project management, sourcing management, supply

change management, manufacturing as well as consumer electronics projects

- Love for technology.

- Excellent oral and written English.

- Chinese language will be positively taken into account.

- Excellent internal communication skills

- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

- Ability of learning and adapting quickly in situations requiring technical acumen and

problem solving with new technology

- Honest and integrity, responsibility, interpersonal skills, team-work player

Contract and perks

- Full-time open-term contract
