Job Responsibilities:

1. To process purchase requisitions and place verbal and formal orders with suitable suppliers.

2. To determine sourcing method, and select qualified candidate suppliers in accordance with Purchasing policies and procedures.

3. To understand the status of tenderers /suppliers /contractors with regard to their financial resources, production capabilities and capacities prior to request for tenders / quotations.

4. To prepare candidate suppliers list and issue invitation to tender and / or quote.

5. To solicit and determine suitable course of action for price increase submitted by suppliers.

6. To negotiate for settlement or to enforce the order / contract in the best interest of CRC.

7. To capture market and asset cost data, documentation and knowledge to support the team.

8. To solicit and determines suitable course of action in case of supplies problems due to delay in delivery, inferior quality or damaged items; to execute or to obtain alternative sources of supply.

9. To keep up-to-date market information on goods and services by visiting supplier sites and meeting with suppliers.

10. To support supplier performance management to monitor and ensure the suppliers' performance in quality, cost and delivery.

11. To liaise with line departments and to ensure well co-ordination.

12. To interview new potential suppliers and maintain proper relationship with suppliers.

Job Requirements:

1. University or college diploma. Minimum 3 working experience years in sourcing/purchasing/procurement, preferably in indirect/service related categories experience

2. Knowledge of ERP/Oracle Procurement system.

3. Problem Solving and Decision Making.

4. Results Orientation

5. Effective Communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Good command of Cantonese / Mandarin / English.
