Job Description: Work together with China Team to ensure the quality of Shaw Spencer’s supply sources and product being shipped from the Shenzhen office meet the standard specified by Shaw Spencer UK.

Monthly Salary Package: Monthly RMB6K-8K, provide social insurance/housing funds and phone bill compensation package.

Bonus: Basically, company will provide 13th month bonus before March of next year but this needs to be evaluated based on individual performance and company yearly turnover status.

Probation: 2 months.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. College degree or above
2. Min 3 years experience in home furniture product quality inspection experience.
3. Knowledge in quality control procedure.
4. Must be detail-oriented, principled and diligent, honest and good personality Good team work sprite, able to work under pressure
5. Willing to travel frequently.
6. Knowledge in ISO 9000 series and inspection specifications is an advantage.
7. Good English communication, including reading, writing & spoken.
8. Organized person and good at time management.
9. Problem solver. Willing to learn and take challenges.

Details of job duties:

1. To conduct in-line & Pre-shipment inspections according to SSI & its customer’s quality standard.
2. To help support and advise the Merchandise/BD team on product/source quality.
3. Help follow-up Corrective actions after auditing.
4. To communicate with supervisor for any quality non-compliance, to communicate with factory for a solution of sorting problem out.
5. To work with the Manufacturers/Merchandisers/PD to resolve QC related issues.
6. To communicate effectively with the quality function within SSH (UK).
7. To monitor manufacture quality status and report any case back to supervisor in time.
8. To visit new factory and determine their production capabilities and their ability to produce consistent quality product (in conjunction with Merchandise/BD team).
9. To review new product samples prior to dispatch to the BDMs and record these findings on the SSI ‘New Product Appraisal form’. To prevent sub-standard product being dispatched to the UK.
10. To highlight areas of improvement/concern on product immediately upon review of samples.
11. To offer technical/quality support and assist (where required) to UK BDMs/Customers visiting the Shenzhen office.
