Job objectives
This position is responsible to grow the overall Polymer business in Greater China. The position requires the ability to consult customers within the general manufacturing industry based on our Polymer AM technology and to develop the business in this target market segment. The position is responsible to strengthen the entire solution around the our Polymer business and closely work with the counterparts in the other regions (EMEA, NA) and HQ.
Your Responsibilities
Strategy Segment Your responsibility
Key Account Management Support Key customers in China to create a success in China and establish a relationship to maintain long-term partnerships
Help identify and develop prospects in the Industry, Humaneering, Aviation and Automotive prospects in China during the fiscal year.
Support our channel partners to win orders through consulting and guiding prospect to identify the right applications.
Support sales and distributors in all industry related projects
Develop account penetration plans/ customer development plans for these identified prospects.
System & local business DSO management, collect overdue payment from distributors/customers
Solution Engineering and execution Consult and develop technical and commercial solution proposals for the Chinese Polymer industry.
Develop solution partner resources to build up complete solution
Apply these new solutions on high potential market segment. Solutions include the ensures of the Supply Chain, the development of customer specific approaches and communicate with HQ about required customization about the existing solution for the Chinese market.
Execute commercial solutions with Service providers and key customers to provide solutions unique to the Ecosystems
Business Development and global collaboration Develop an overall Market Strategy and Business Plan for the development of Polymer market in China
Involve and manage regional Suppliers and regional entities of global suppliers to drive business, in alignment with Business Owner in HQ
Build up competitive intelligence against the main competitors and their specific solutions (e.g., HP, Farsoon) as well as competitive technologies (e.g., FDM, SLA)
Report 50% of the objectives to key account management EMEA
Other tasks required by the Regional Manager or Sales Director
Your Background
Bachelor degree or above majored in mechanical or materials engineering related field
At least 2 years’ sales experience in 3D printing market or machine tool market
High degree of technical or commercials skill for selling 3D printing machines and materials or Polymer solutions
Good command of English language
High level of self-motivation to achieve goals and a business orientation to ensure that our interest as well as customers’ interests are matched is essential
Able to represent us and customers in a professional manner on all levels.
Be a teamplayer, who is willing to share knowledge and communicate in a transparent and clear way regionally and globally
Able to work independently and able to cope with time-pressure and high work-load
Be flexible and adapt easily to changing environments
Preferably very familiar with Chinese language and culture
