PURPOSE  OF THE JOB

In order to continue to deliver high-quality digital experiences to our  clients, we are now seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our firm. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    

In this role, the qualified candidate will be engaged in the following activities (but are not limited to):

    
1. Minimal 15 years of IT work experience, from which 3-5 years as a consultant, IT project manager and business analyst  

2. Business Analyst with experience working in Engineering industry and BIM tools will be an advantage

3. Experience in managing vendors and service providers in order to meet clients and company goals

4. Proven experience in analysing, modelling and documenting business requirements, this includes but is not limited to: oElicitation and confirmation of functional and non-functional requirements

oAble to guide clients in defining business requirements and functional design

oBusiness process modelling, data/class modelling and other business analysis modelling techniques

oAnalysis and documentation of current / future processes

oIdentifying and documenting use cases (scenarios) representing clients’ workflows and tasks

  

5. Performing business analysis activities during all phases of the system development lifecycle including, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation

  

6. Development of detailed functional test scenarios that will be used to validate acceptable functional behaviour of the system

  

7. Assist in monitoring and managing project baseline to ensure activities are occurring as planned - scope, budget and schedule –manages variances

  

8. Mastery of different project management methodologies (waterfall (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) and agile (e.g. Scrum))

  

9. Engagement leadership experience including:  managing staff and providing regular status updates

  

10. Experience in managing and governing with 3rd party suppliers would be an advantage

ACADEMIC AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field  

2. At least 10 years relevant and practical experience performing business analyst and project management activities with 5 years of management experience

3. CBAP/PRINCE2/PMP/Scrum Master Certification would be an advantage

4. Familiarity with ITIL v4 would be advantageous xExperience working in a global organisation with multiple distributed branch/sites

  

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  

1. Excellent written and spoken English & Chinese

  

2. Excellent external client-facing and internal communication skills, including strong experience in issue and conflict resolution

  

3. Ability to work independently with low-level supervision

  

4. Very strong organization skills (set priorities, meets deadlines, multiple simultaneous projects) and excellent documentation skills

  

5. Excellent analytical and diagnostic problem-solving skills with the ability of providing solutions to identified problems

  

6. Demonstrated experience in understanding, designing, delivering and demonstrating compliance with information security requirements

  

7. Knowledge and experience in performing information security practices in the management and delivery of projects

  

8. Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate and develop staff
