岗位职责:

Responsibilities:
? Checks all coding done by physicians to ensure proper coding.
? Codes services of questionable/new items and reviews proper coding with coding supervisor.
? Review medical records and assign ICD-9-CM and CPT codes, based on episode of care and physician documentation, performs data abstracting and statistical reporting.
? Collaborates with physicians, clinical department providers and administrative staff to provide technical assistance for coding questions and to achieve accurate billing and reimbursement levels.

Qualifications:
? Working knowledge of the English language
? Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work long hours if needed.
? Must also possess excellent analytical & problem solving abilities as well as, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
? Requires ability to work well under pressure and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
? Requires good time management, organizational and prioritization skills.
? PC skills
