Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of multi-disciplinary engineers and experts. Including material, mechanical and product integration. The Sr. Innovation manager delivers innovative, trend leading, market driver, completed products / solutions, meet target time, quality and cost. 
• Building and maintaining germicidal light technology roadmap and knowhow database.
• Training R&D, marketing and other operation teams. Building and maintaining tools, solutions and microservices associated with deployment and our operations platform, ensuring that all meet our customer required standards and reduce errors.
• Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch.
• Update our processes and design new processes as needed.
• Deploy product updates as required while implementing integrations when they arise.
• Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements.
• Work with external suppliers or institutes technologies as needed.
• Work with team through development and operations.
• Offer technical support where needed to developer teams.
• Stay current with industry trends and source new ways for our business to improve.

Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD degree in Polymer Materials and engineering, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering or a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 year experiences in new product development or research role
• Minimum 1 year experience in UV-C or photocatalyst for air purification or air sterilization or health light applications.
• Experience of cooperation with external research institute with success business proving record.
• Ability to deeply study patents/papers, file new patents and publish new papers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technologies and processes with team and management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.
• Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed.
• Team-oriented cooperation and intercultural competence
• Fluent English is a must
• Professional communication and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of electronics, software, luminaires and technology principles
