岗位职责:

Summary of Responsibilities:
Establishes systems and procedures for the efficient distribution and use of medical records throughout the hospital. Responsible for patient information release issues and assists medical record Manager in the efficient and effective management of Medical record.

Responsibilities:

? Taking request from patients, verifying the patient or the request or identification, photocopying the medical records, faxing or mailing medical records as request, etc.
? Transfer demographic and medical information from each discharge medical record into the computer abstract program in a timely and accurate manner.
? Transcribe medical report upon requested.
? Develop analyzes and technically evaluates medical records and indexes.
? Assist medical staffs in evaluation the quality of patient care and in developing criteria and methods for such evaluation.
? Collect and analyze patient and institutional data for health care and health related programs.
? Maintain service orientation with staff, patients and the public.
? Maintain patient confidentiality

Other Duties Performed
? Substitute for other medical record department staffs as needed.
? Any other duties as assigned

任职资格:

Qualifications
? College level or equivalent majored in medical record or health information management preferred.
? One year work experience in hospital or relative healthcare industry.
? Must have ability to speak, understand and be understood in the English language.
? Must have a working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and disease processes.
