The candidate will work in system engineering department and collaborate with marketing, FAE and development teams. He/she will be a member in Micron memory system enablement and validation for APAC customers and chipset partners. Also, he/she will work for certain amount of time on analyzing the system level requirement and how to implement memory features on systems. His/her responsibilities would include but not limited in below:

• Work in system engineering lab to validate DRAM timings with scope and logical analyzer on customer system boards.
• Provide DRAM technical solution and support to customers, especially for those related with timing marginality and measurement variation etc.
• Define and implement system validation hardware test kits for DRAM memory in various embedded systems.
• Perform system level analysis on various DRAM products’ features and its impact both positive and negative to embedded systems.
• Working with product development/software and other teams to develop solutions which meet systems/application requirements, such as power consumption saving, reliability improvement, cross talk/ interference prevention.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• B.S./M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other equivalent majors.
• Experienced in operating oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other lab equipment.
• 2~5 years of experience on related fields but not limited, such as system hardware schematic design, PCB design and layout, hardware & PCB board validation/debug, DRAM system validation etc.
• Experience with hand soldering/BGA re-balling operations.
• Experience on hardware related issues debug with structured problem solving.
• Knowledge of signal integrity theory and high-speed problem-solving experience is a plus.
• Willing to work on shift for critical project season is a strong plus and appreciated.
• Having the knowledge of memory interfaces and technology is a plus.
• Fluent English reading and speaking skill is preferred.
• Out of box and innovative thinking is a big value added.
