Product Support Engineer (Adimec Shenzhen Office)

In order to further expand our market and achieve our business goals, Adimec is setting up Adimec Shenzhen office and looking for a Product Support Engineer to support our business development activities in South China (Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi & Hunan) market. The Product Support Engineer provides technical support to the Business Development Manager, the (potential) customers and cooperates with other Adimec China employees as well as Adimec Eindhoven team members to create solutions which fit with customer system needs.

Shanghai Adimec Trading Co., Ltd was set up in 2018 and it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adimec Advanced Image Systems BV. To further expand the growth potential in South China, we are setting up Adimec Shenzhen office and this job position becomes available.

Job mission

In corporation with the Business Development Manager, Tech Team (10 employees worldwide) and with the (technical) Business Line Directors (head office) your target is to take care of all technical support towards the Business Development Manager, customers and proactively inform customers regarding all technical aspect of our products.

Your work includes:

· Building relationships with key engineers of prospects and customers;

· Acquire, maintain and share knowledge about Adimec products and about customer applications;

· Provide 1st-line technical and application support to prospects, customers and channel partners during and after the business development process;

· Organize smooth interfacing with 2nd (Tech Team) and 3rd line (R&D-team, 40+ employees) support from Adimec Eindhoven organization including project management;

· Follow up on technical requests and questions from customers. Coordinate corrective actions for solutions of technical problems;

· Take care for technical documentation and to communicate product changes with customers;

· Provide product demonstrations at customers and at trade shows and align with the technical marketing organization of Adimec Eindhoven;

· Deal with product-repair requests and with the service organization;

• Support Business Development Manager and Business Lines during the whole business development process to find the optimized solution to fulfill the needs of our customers and to optimize the commercial result.

Job Requirements

· A technical Bachelor degree with a preference for Electrical and Electronics Engineering;

· Fulltime availability;

· Self-propelled and also strong team player;

· Knowledges about industrial cameras (Gig-E, Camera Link, CXP);

· Excellent communication skills and fluent in English and Mandarin;

· Experience in semiconductor is a plus;

· Engineering experience in vision systems is a big plus.
