职位描述
1. Supplier relationships
Maintaining excellent relationships between Daylight and our key partners and implement our supplier strategy, ensuring constant improvement.
2. Goods shipped on time
Ensuring goods leave on time.
3. New products.
Oversee and assist the Engineering Manager in China with the project management of new products.
4. Quality Assurance and Compliance
Oversee and assist the QA Manager in China to ensure all products are shipped on time and are of the highest quality.
5. Product sourcing
Sourcing products as requested by the Global Commercial Manager and the E-commerce Manager.
6. Price negotiation
Proactive price negotiation with our major suppliers.
7. Responsible for all aspects of our China office operations

THE ROLE
The Daylight Company’s China operations are a vital part of the business. All our products are manufactured or sourced in China, and we depend on a highly professional and well managed Division there. Most of the products we sell are designed by our New Product Development Department in London, and a smaller number of products are sourced. The business is dependent on excellent relationships with our suppliers, including maintaining and deepening partnerships with a small number of major suppliers. You will be assisted in managing projects in this role by the following reports: the Engineering Manager and his Engineer, as well as the QA Manager and his three Inspectors, all based in the Shenzhen office.
