TASK ORIENTED:

Packaging (structural) design for assigned brand packaging by following provided guideline, including design drawing, sampling and fit testing for additional sizes or family of designed product.

 

COMPETENCY:

• Works under direct supervision.

• Basic knowledge of structural design software (ArtiosCAD, CAPE, Truck Fill)

• Exposure to corrugated and/or folding carton design, production and product development

• Good command of verbal and written communication skills in both English and local language

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively across cultural and organizational lines

• Familiar with ISTA Transit test. Be able to set up testing plan according to ISTA Protocol.

 

WORKING EXPERIENCE:

Three to five years working experience in packaging structural design. Production experience in the corrugated and/or folding carton industry is preferable.

Experience and creative in diversified packaging structural design with sustainable material will be given the priority.

 

 

QUALIFICATION:

• Four years bachelor degree with major in Packaging Engineering with a special interest in fiber based packaging design and manufacturing

• ISTA CPLP Technician Level is a plus
