Flexport is experiencing massive growth with 1,800+ Flexporters across 14 global offices. And we’re just getting started. We’re looking for a People Operations Associate  to join our Asia People team. This person will be a key member of the People to deliver amazing employee life cycle experiences to our Flexports in areas of onboarding, payroll, benefit administration, maintaining and processing confidential employee information in our HRIS, and work on various projects to help us grow our people operations functions efficiently. You will:

• Onboard new hires by ensuring they are properly set up for payroll, benefit programs, new hire orientation and IT
• Own the hygiene of people's data on HRIS by regularly auditing the data, updating changes , creating reports, and overseeing proposing business process improvements
• Support payroll and benefit administration
• Identify areas of improvement and automation opportunities. Lead efforts to streamline workflows and address process gaps
• Assist on fulfilling the compliance requirements as required by the employment laws and regulations
• Collaborate with PBP team to enhance our employee experience through continuous improvements on our people processes, systems and data analytics

You should have:

• Bachelor degree, or equivalent working experience  
• 3+ years experience in HR operation / HRIS / payroll / C&B functions 
• Some knowledge of the employment practices and local employment laws
• Excellent organization skills and attention to details
• Good team player
• Proficiency in  Excel  with Excel and/or G-Suite applications (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar) 
• Fluent in Mandarin and proficiency in English at intermediate level
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and handle multi tasks
