工作职责:

We have an immediate opening for a Graphic Artist (6 months) based in Packaging Management function, Asia Pacific Operation Office Shenzhen, China. What contribution will I make to Helen of Troy?

Work with overseas marketing/creative teams to manage dieline & artwork files. Keep them consistence per guideline, meet quality standard and requirement. Photo retouching on product images to match product color perfectly. Manage suppliers on their lead time and quality. Assist Packaging Engineers in resolving packaging related issues.

What you’ll be doing?

- Handle artwork creation from dieline to artwork release to supplier.

- Good skill in creating packaging artworks per requirement and guideline. Communicate with US team for artwork approval.

- Retouch product images.  Ensure it matches actual product color perfectly. 

- Check artwork file per guideline and solve related issues before releasing to vendor/printer.

- Manage the Studio.  Photo shoots samples etc. 

- Ensure packaging suppliers reach our requirements and quality standard.  Including mock up/white box sample, press proof, pre-production sample and printed packaging.

-  To be familiar with HOT work process and execute project with guideline.

- Assist Packaging Engineer, factories and related parties in solving artwork related issues.

-  Work independently in handling projects. Proactively raise any potential packaging related problems, identify root cause and provide solutions.

What are the requirements for consideration?

- Bachelor Degree in Packaging, Printing, graphic design or related discipline

- Min 3 - 5 years relevant working experience in Packaging or Printing industry.

- Have good knowledge of packaging, printing (pre-press, printing & post-press)

- Solid experience of artwork creation and photo retouching

- Good experience at artwork trouble shooting and quality control

- Familiar with Microsoft Office software

- Familiar with design       Software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark, etc.),

- Good command       of both spoken and written English and Chinese / Mandarin

    

- Effective communication with overseas party and factory.

    - Detail orientation,  responsible, proactive attitude and be organized
