Responsibilities:

Shipping Planning

• Analyze regularly the result of the bulk plans (container loading plan) to optimize the plans in view of market priorities as well as SEB Asia objectives

• With best cost option globally in mind, decide the option between direct shipment and CFS

• Validate the final loading plan and drive the shipping instructions to Suppliers and 3PL

 

Supplier Management

• Be the key contact for suppliers & markets regarding the container loading plan

• Clearly communicate the delivery instructions to suppliers

• Negotiate and control the accuracy of the extra-trucking fees if any

• Monitor accuracy of logistic data to get accurate loading plans

 

Continuous Improvement

• Identify potential improvements considering filling rate, cost, containers mix, supplier confirmation

• Identify top offenders and root cause analysis, build action plan jointly

• Identify & propose potential improvements in the bulk plan parameters

Implement and monitor KPIs and reporting with support of internal team

Qualification:

• Diploma or above, major in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or relevant disciplines

• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Supply Chain, preferably in supply planning and transportation field

• Demonstrated project management skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills; strong in negotiation and able to influence stakeholders

• Responsible, self-motivated and proactive

• Proficient in Excel & MS Words

• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
