PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Support Asia innovation projects success
• Work closely across various functional areas, including manufacturing, engineering, materials, product creation, design and development and help to create a balanced portfolio of innovation across multiple dimensions, ranging from near-term business plans to multi-year strategic plans.
• Create and foster and innovation culture both within Crocs Asia and within the T1 and T2 factories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage complex and innovative projects across different functions and departments.
• Motivate, engage and indirectly manage T1 and T2 factories innovation
• Contribute to implement an Open Innovation environment, extending the network of suppliers even to parallel industries, in order to collect ideas and solutions from the most diverse sources
• Collaborate with the Europe and America Innovation teams
• Take ownership for the entire development process of the innovation, with an emphasis on quality product development and timely completion of all tasks in accordance with the applicable product creation calendar in Centric 8.
• Establish strong collaborative relationships with our research and testing team to realize new functional concepts and produce prototypes, evaluate testing results, and drive towards platforms that are ready for hand off to brand product teams.
• Proactively research new technologies, processes and materials to drive innovation.
• Travel to global industry events to gain insight into the latest innovations in the market.
• Ensure a successful implementation of the innovations in production, directly working with QA, Product Execution, costing and other Crocs teams, as well as with the factories.

The Crocs legend originated in July 2002, when three American founders who are enthusiastic about rowing found that there was a lack of lightweight shoes suitable for rowing in the market. Therefore, they decided to take the initiative to start developing a type of footwear product designated for rowing and outdoor activities. In February 2006, Crocs was listed on NASDAQ (NYSE: CROX), and has become one of the fastest growing companies in the USA. CROCS continuously improve its design development and sales of its casual footwear products. Crocs Industrial (Shenzhen) has the critical responsibility to ensure superior quality for Crocs finished shoes, sourced uppers and sole units for world wide market. Besides manufacturing operations, Crocs Industrial (Shenzhen) is also responsible for Quality Responsibility, social compliance, Production Engineering, Sourcing, Distribution and Logistics, Supply chain management, etc. Crocs Industrial (Shenzhen) also helps to manager Crocs’ supplier in Vietnam.
