DFS is on its journey to become a truly data driven company. In order to drive the company Data Strategy, the Sr. Data Strategist will be a key enabler to achieve the company's long-term vision. The strategist will help to grow the data strategy as well as drive and implement some of its key components. Working closely together with the data owners, technical teams and analytics teams, the data strategist will build enablers to make data strategy into a daily normality and help to drive the data governance process smoothly and transparently.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Refine and improve the existing data strategy
• Run the data governance operating model
• Create data strategy - and operating model enablers
• Support and align with data owners
• Manage the data quality transparency and governance KPIs
• Understand data governance issues and help to define the roadmap for data flow, documentation and workflow for these problems
• Work with data hands-on, being able to model and analyze the data while helping to define parameters that ensure the data is utilized fully
• Be a translator to the business counterparts and understand how to deliver these needs through high technical standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Other Qualifications / Core Competencies

• Team player with data owners, data stewards and IT
• Strong understanding of technical limitations
• Hands on with quick dashboard development
• Good at translating complex data mechanisms into simple business structures
• Knowledge of current trend of data governance requirements such as Personal Data Privacy Ordinances (PDPO), EU General Data Protection Requirements (GDPR)
