This is an early career personnel working within Lumentum’s Product Compliance team collecting compliance data for parts and assemblies from suppliers.

In this position you will:

• Collects, reviews and uploads compliance declarations on RoHS, REACH and full material declarations from various suppliers worldwide.
• Reviews collected declarations on completeness and verifies their accuracy against drawings and other technical documentation.
• Tracks data collection progress and provides summary reports for different projects.
• Interacts with other internal teams to obtain suppliers’ contact information and other part specific information.
• Keeps suppliers contact information current in the database.
• Enters suppliers’ compliance data from various formats into a designated form.
• Imports data into Agile system and submits for approval.
• Stays up to date with internal compliance requirements for suppliers.

Requirements

• Good English speaking and writing skills in order to communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers worldwide per email and phone.
• Good organization skills and accuracy required to track multiple requests.
• Ability to understand material properties, basic chemistry, and interpret technical documents.
• Ability to understand basic mathematics skills (e.g. convert data units from grams to milligrams, percent to parts per million).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload based on importance and urgency.
• Works independently under minimum of supervision.
• Possesses Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Outlook) and electronic data processing entry skills.
• Basic knowledge of RoHS requirements.
