Position Description: Job summary This individual contributor position need to support sourcing/supply strategy for a certain commodity to cover following future business basing on well understanding on Commodity Technical Industry trend. Serve as a interface between company and suppliers as required to include supplier sourcing, price negotiation, QBR (Quarterly Business Review) arrangement with responsible suppliers and working with other internal functions to close any internal issues; responsible for RFI/RFQ (Request for Information/Quotation) process complying with company’s business control requirement. Role & Responsibilities 1,Proactively support sourcing/supply strategy for a certain commodity,responsible for supplier selection through RFQ process complying with company’s rule. 35% 2,Primarily cover price negotiation to keep responsible commodities competitive. 30% 3, Lead QBR (Quarter Business Review), work with suppliers closely on performance improvement.20% 4,Guide other internal functions to solve some quality, validation, supply and service issues. 15% Interaction This role mainly works with Internal cross function team and external vendors, more communication and effort should be allocated on Commodity Technical Industry investigation and always with relative strategic thinking for future risk make-up. Internal cross function interactions will mainly involve internal and external training, establish a strategic partner relationship with suppliers Price negotiation for $75M annual purchase spending. Problem Solving This role is capable of solving most problemmore than timely, especially unexpected ones occurred during operation, This role can prevent problem from happening by always getting ahead of industry and a strategic plan cover certain following period. It has a sound knowledge of commodity technology and industry trend . Position Requirement:Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor degree in business, engineering, or related discipline 5-7 years in supply chain industry experience Perferred Education & Experience Master degree on business, engineering, or related discipline 5-7 years in Procurement experience Required Licenses/Certifications: English efficiency: Be able to initiate dialogue with foreigners, basic written and oral English to allow daily correspondence to resolve business issue, especially a highly understanding on technical words and general acronym used in industry
