MISSIONS

Our client is seeking a talented General Manager to contribute to the success of the growth of the organization by overseeing 

the plastic business processes, the multi-material assembly line and their QC center. This position reports directly to the owners. As General Manager you will be responsible

 for overall operations for all activities in the modern production facility. Some regional travel is required. You will liaise often with 

other team mem-bers, including interacting with project managers in Foshan and in Europe/USA; present findings to stakeholders and seniormanagement; 

and train, supervise, track and measure staff performance.

RESPONSABILITIES

- Full P&L responsibility for the plant including plastic injection, multi-material assembly and QC operations for intense and outsourced products;

- Lead day-to-day activities for all departments in the plant. 

Responsible for production planning and efficiency, machine maintenance, 

safety, certification maintenance and quality in accordance with policies, principles, and established procedures;

- Support the launch of new brands and/or products in China and around the world;

- Manage the export process in collaboration with Foshan office, ensuring compliance and

timely delivery;

- Develop and coach direct reports. Set production plans and targets for teams, implement

performance management process and lead safety culture;

- Implement the plant vision and growth strategies and report regularly on progress and results;

- Ensure compliance with applicable governmental/WS regulations related to commercial

activities and environmental, health and safety. Implement and/or adapt policies and

procedure to ensure safety and compliance;

- Partner with team in Foshan to ensure compliance with customer specifications, timing,

budget and regulatory requirements;

- Work closely with key vendors and suppliers who support the business;

- Communicate regularly and completely with owners regarding all initiatives, problems,

corrective actions and progress;

- Responsible for ethical work practices in factory for all employees, vendors and customers.

REQUIREMENTS

Must Have:

- A Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience in a management role in QA/manufacturing

environment.

- Understand and be able to interpret and analyze financial and operating statements.

- Experience leading and managing direct reports – including coaching, performance

feedback, and incentives.

- Ability to interface with, influence, and gain credibility across all levels.

- Ability to conduct market research – including supply and demand analysis – to develop

market point of view.

- Identify opportunities to grow returns and bottom-line based on current capabilities.

- Understand fundamental manufacturing and operations concepts / key levers, equipment

design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.

- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements including but not limited to environmental

and waste minimization, and company policies.

- Understand price / volume trade-offs and overall profit maximization.

- Must speak, read and write Chinese and English.

Nice to Have:

- Six Sigma Black Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing certification preferred.

- Experience in the luxury industry.

- Experience in European or US manufacturing environment.

- Speak French.
