General Overview:

Maintain and sustain a proactive channel of communication with management regarding purchasing and inventory decisions impacting their business. Generate performance reports for underperforming product lines, and initiate resolution plan of action.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates purchasing reports, prioritizes purchase orders by critical need; and ensures orders meet the optimal levels to maximize profit and sales, ensures full and on time delivery against supply commitment
• Obtains confirmations, verifies pricing and quantities, follows up with vendors to correct issues or re-request confirmations, attaches confirmations to POs, and manages confirmations record
• Performs all purchase transactions for assigned categories, investigate demand issues with GBUs when required
• Works with vendors for updated information regarding shipments, keeps ship dates accurate for the field
• Evaluates and manages key suppliers order book, no calc, and aged inventory. Manages inventory /fill rates for assigned categories.

> Provide right and clear shipping instruction to both suppliers and 3rd party logistics company for customer order dispatch                                                                  

> Follow-up with Quality team/supplier on customer claims (shortage or quality issue)

• Gather data and conduct analyses to improve supply chain initiatives, evaluate supplier performance with appropriate metrics and reports
• Coordinate new sourced product introduction with suppliers 

> Interface with global new product coordinator

> Ensure readiness according to launch plan and detailed planning monitoring

• Utilize ERP (SAP) for order management and price synchronization

Requirements:

• University/ Bachelor’s degree required
• More than 2 years in supply chain function
• PC skill
• Good oral and written English
