Role Purpose:

This role would be assist the merchandising manager in order to achieve the strategies & fully support HQ Assortment team for product development to bulk delivery.Monitor the merchandisers negotiate price/quality/delivery as per seasonal buying strategy.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Solid monitor merchandisers operations and daily work

• Follow up Sustainable improvement

• Capacity planning/WIP control

• Review and perform risk assessment prior to production

• Follow up sample progress and allocation with the Merchandisers

• FOB cost control/negotiation

• Monitoring and tracking the production progress and make sure orders can delivered on time

• Assist team leader to response the customer complaints and quality check by government

• Perform other duties as assigned by Superior

   

   

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Clothing, Textile Merchandising or related discipline preferred

• Strong knowledge in garments products and requirement of product standard of PRC and Asian market

• Strong sense in cost control, familiar with garment and fabric cost.

• More than 5 years of experiences in knitting wear/sweater/dress/woven garment in merchandising(with 2 years in managerial  will be plus)

• Expert on merchandising and product development process.

• Good negotiation ability to secure the best deals with suppliers is must

• Result oriented with detail minded and responsive

• Team player with good communication skill with internal and external parties

• Well self-organized ability in multiple tasks to meet deadlines

• Committed, flexible and willing to shoulder additional responsibilities

• Experience in buying office is preferable

 

Other Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint

• Be fluent in spoken and written Mandarin,familiar with English & Cantonese is preferable.

• Experiences of working in Fast Fashion supply chain companies (e.g. brands, mills, garment factories, etc.)

• Strong mindset of quick-response and short leadtime to be the keys of success

• Cost-conscious and sensitive to number/money

• High adaptability of high work pressure and complete works within shortest time
