Position Description

     

(1) The Project Quality Engineer (PQE) is responsible for Project Quality Standard and Quality control Development.

     

(2) The PQE works with the Service Organization, Service Supply Chain & Project Management Group to continuously improve performance of key system components (increase lifecycle, reduce scrap, improve repair processes) by implementing process controls and develop quality assurance plans.

     

(3) The PQE handle customer complaint and improve on quality control plan.

     

(4) This position requires leadership skills that would enable the PQE to drive major Quality improvement projects function and entities (MDI, Suppliers, CM’s…).

     

(5) The position also needs the ability to communicate with customer.

     

     

     

Responsibilities:

     

1. According to the requirement of quality system, responsibility for editing quality documents and others relational job, coaching the supplier to complete relational job.

     

2. Maintain and improve the supplier's management system, work together with each factory to establish and update system documents.

     

3. Monitor quality system operation, conduct and follow suggestion.

     

4. Oversee the supplier's quality management system operation status.

     

5. The system promotes and carries out an execution.

     

6. Responsibility for making action plan /follow up and improvement when some disfigurements happened.

     

     

7. External audit and customer audit follow.

     

8. Harmonize and cooperate with other department for meeting company’s target.

     

9. Deal with other assignments assigned by superior.

     

     Qualification :     

1. College degree above.

     

     

2. Fluent oral English and good written skill

     

3. Priorit above 3 years QS experience in glass industry, and have the ISO 9001 & SA8000 knowledge
