Main Responsibilities

1. Responsible for planning, managing, and executing multiple new product development projects that includes the following:
- R&D, Design, Product Specifications,
- Product risk assessment
- FMEA DFMEA analysis.
- Prototyping, Engineering Test plans & testing
- Design Reviews
- Tool Release, Engineering Builds
- Pilot runs through full scale Production.
2. Work with Marketing to evaluate new product concepts from end-user perspective and assess feasibility as an engineered product.
3. Perform competitor product benchmarking and collaborate with quality team to define product performance metrics and test methods.
4. Apply best practices in establishing and validating product requirements and specifications.
5. Conduct internal and external design reviews and manage the execution of resulting action items.
6. Collaborate with China Engineering team over tool development and engineering build requirements.
7. Actively participate in program updates with executive management and issue action items to assigned team members.
8. Work across global resources located in different time zones.
9. Identify and investigate new technologies for the category.
10. Build solid working relationships and cooperation skills with other personnel through effective communication.
11. Work with Quality to prioritize and evaluate product returns and related tear down information for the category.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS
List minimum work experience. (all Required)
1. Must have10 years experience in a lead Project Engineering roll of complex integrated assemblies and or engineering systems.
2. Must have 5+ years of on the job experience in high volume consumer products
3. Functional Skills/Knowledge:
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with good sound interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience as a leader in cross-functional teams in matrix organizations.
