Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates manufacturing Test systems, or other hardware systems and/or Test development applications. Analyzes test equipment to establish operating data, develops tests and evaluates results. Work with the contract manufacturer to ensure Manufacturing Test systems are deployed and implemented to satisfaction and provide the needed technical support for their efficient operations. Also review vendor capability to support Test support and development and provide necessary training as needed.

• On-site support of test systems used for product Test and reconfiguration
• Implemnet and support Industry 4.0 and LSS strategies at our supplier factories to ensure world class operations.
• Test software sustaining / development & test circuit design for manufacturing test systems that perform calibration & functional testing of electronic devices and opto-mechanical electronic products.
• Use Measurement System Analysis (MSA) tools to validate the designed test system (Cpk, GR&R).
• Support and facilitate implementation of test systems for manufacturing in conjunction with US based Test and Design Engineering Teams.
• Engage in engineering design reviews and provide Design-For-Test (DFT) product analysis.
• Exemplifying strong leadership on quality goals and the delivery of lean solutions, low cost test systems, and cycle time improvements in an ethical and responsible way.
• Travel to and from manufacturing factories in APAC region. Occasional travel outside of the region is required to work with design teams and suppliers.

 Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Computer/Software
• Experience in the electrical & software development, deployment and support of manufacturing test systems.
• 5+ years experience in subject matter.
• Local Language and English verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated technical analysis and problem-solving capability associated with the manufacturing or functionality of electronic systems.
• Can demonstrate knowledge in one or more programming languages, C++, C#, Java, TestStand/LabVIEW
• RF test experience is an added advantage
