Position Description: Lenovo MBG is looking for a experienced Global Commodity Manager to support the business growth in accessory category. * lead supplier sourcing / selection activities and successfully manages the supplier relationship to ensure that the supply chain is capable of delivering high quality, cost effective and stable supply materials. * Flexible to meet fast paced dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment. · Engage with an global cross function team to develop innovative products. * Be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. * Focus on cost improvement, supply chain efficiency, supplier management, as well as all sourcing activities within accessories team. · work closely with Engineering and Product to influence technical design decisions, meet product requirements, and reach business objectives. · Manages the Approved Vendors List (AVL) and drives supplier business review for continuous improvement in supplier performance such as cost, quality, supply, technology, service, environment and ethics. Position Requirement:· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field. · Total 10+ years of experience in high volume manufacturing operations with hands-on knowledge in mechanical, electrical, final assembly and testing. · Of which 5+ years’ experience in NPI operation of supply chain management including but not limited to cost reduction, complex cost modeling, NRE, quotation analysis, supplier selection, supplier performance management and E/O. · Global supply chain experience working cross functional teams in a fast pace consumer electronics industry. · Proven success in program management, sourcing strategy, market research, risk mitigation. · Influences the features and detailed functional requirements and end user/customer’s needs. · Work requires creativity and judgement. Strong attention to details. · Excellent analytical skills. . Good English skill as working lauguage in speaking, email and report
