Function: Global Account Services
Role: Global Accounts Pricing Analyst
Reporting line: Global Accounts Reporting Mgr with dotted line to Head of Program Management.
Background: The Jabra Global Account Services Function, supports and coordinates Jabra’s Key Global End Customer Accounts and International Opportunities for Jabra’s Business Solutions Division. The function also works closely with Jabra’s Sales Regions in developing relationships with Key Global Partners to support the needs of the Accounts. As the Global Accounts vary in size, opportunity, presence and needs, Jabra serves the Global Accounts at a competitive level by leveraging from local presence for more personal sales and support, while still addressing the account’s global needs and interests – Think Global – Act Local. The Jabra Global Accounts Services function is therefore about coordination and the use of Jabra’s internal networks and solutions to address different Customer’s needs & Requirements. The Jabra Global Accounts Program is coordinated and supported by Global Account Program Managers (GPM’s).
This Open Position of : Global Accounts Pricing Analyst is tasked with supporting the GPM’s by performing various operations tasks such as ; Creation, amendment and updating of Global Customer Price requests in our Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) tool based on direction and requests from the GPM’s; maintaining our pricing database and being able to pull / create reports and provide detailed price analysis. Ensure the overall hygiene related to data in the CPQ system and linking to CRM.
Key Responsibilities
· Day to Day Price Requests & Approvals in CPQ ( Configure, Price, Quote Tool ) - approx. 50% of workload
o Add Products upon request of Global Account Managers or Global Program Managers to Price tool
o Make price recommendations to GPM/GAM's based on key analysis metrics including volume and margins
o Working across regions and timezones to ensure timely completion of requests and Approvals through the system
· CPQ Power User for Global & International Accounts team
o Supporting and advising the GPM teams on CPQ functionality
o Train the key GA/IA Users on any system updates / new features
o Constantly gain feedback on system improvements and work with team/IT to improve
· Reporting and Analysis
o Develop and implement Monthly GA/IA Pricing Reporting and KPI’s
o Experience of BI reporting tools would be an added advantage ( eg Qlik / Microsoft BI, Tableau)
· Support Pricing & Business Cases for Large / Global RFP’s
o Build Business cases based on RFP volume assumption and blended margin analysis
o Support gathering and creation of material for big tenders working with Marketing on Value propositions and ROI for the customer
· Provide Pricing Analysis for Industry Segments
o Industry Specific Price Analysis to optimise competitive prices to customers to gain Mkt share
- Provide Customer and Product Pricing Analysis to maximise margin
· Hygiene and Maintenance of Account relevant information in CRM system, as well as global opportunity handling/ setup for pricing quotation purposes
Your profile
Ideally you are experienced in pricing and Sales Operations and will have 7-10 years experience within a Multi-national corporate environment. You are familiar with following processes but also able to use your initiative to propose improvements and changes. Self-initiated and used to working towards deadlines. Thorough and conscious of delivering quality and paying attention to detail. Stabile, trustworthy and not afraid of performing repetitive work.
Skills and competencies
- Clear understanding of Financial Metrics including P&L and margin analysis.
- Pro-active, self-driven and take a pride in servicing your internal customer
- Fluency in English (oral and written).
- Planning and organizing as well as the ability to follow up and facilitate clean up and maintenance in a busy environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (power point, teams, word, excel) – especially advanced use of excel is preferred
- CRM Knowledge and experience - preferably within Microsoft Dynamics
- CPQ ( Configure, Price, Quote ) tool experience is preferred (Based on Callidus Cloud platform)
- Personal skills: thorough, patient, self-driven and able to work to deadlines
