职位描述

Product Support Lead

Responsibilities:

? Support wide range of applications including Charles River (trading platform) & TEAM business applications
? Ability to pick support for more applications and business requirements
? Production support, Incident resolution and driving the Problem management
? Problem analysis and resolution
? Work closely with the India team to understand the requirements of production environment.
? Develop and maintain mappings between source and target systems and data sources
? Liaise with India support team to understand functional implications of changes
? Will be expected to share on-call rotation, work in shifts.
? Should be flexible with time to work early mornings and over weekends.

Qualifications:

? Graduate from a reputed University
? 5-6 years of relevant industry experience consisting of 4-5 years in application production support
? Experience of complete project lifecycle execution from Requirements Analysis to Production Support
? Experience of working with multi-cultural and geographically disparate teams.
? Experience and well versed with Scheduling tools - Autosys OR Control-M. Candidates with knowledge of both the tools will be preferred.
? Well versed with database SQL queries. Should be able to write medium to complex SQL queries
? Familiarity with Oracle database
? Hands on and working knowledge of UNIX, shell scripts (AIX, LINUX preferred)
? Must have used OR aware of Enterprise messaging products (preferably MQ Series and MQ-WMB)
? Technology experience in Service Management
? Excellent written and oral communications skills in English to do business communications
? Able to speak and understand Japanese language
? Able to prioritize work. Good at time management skills;
? Quick responsive behaviour
? Customer focused - strong service ethic.
? Good analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
? Able to work on own initiative with minimal direction.
? Conscientious, with good attention to detail.
? Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
? Calm approach when under pressure.
? Ability to master a dynamic environment, translate ambiguity into clear technical specifications that are bought into by all stakeholders


Nice to have:
? Experience in supporting Java/J2EE based applications. Candidates with software development experience in such applications will be nice to have.
? Experience or working knowledge of Informatica or any other ETL tool
? Experience in Capital Markets business domain such as Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Funds management and accounting, Pricing, Valuations, Corporate actions etc
? Experience with Charles River Development trading application


Product Support Manager

Responsibilities:

? Production Support functions
(Incident Management; Problem Management, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, Service Request fulfilment)
? Project Management
Planning and tracking the support transitions for new add-on services
Continual improvements via process enhancements and automations
Service reporting to various stakeholders
Coordination and build relationships with other Support teams
Track the risks, issues and work to actively resolve/mitigate them

? Ensure Production stability
? Work on Team's readiness for changes and releases in existing applications
? Ensure that work is completed and delivered as quality goals
? Consistently deliver on goals set by the application support managers
? Initiate service level improvements
? Maintains a high level of functional knowledge and growth within the team
? People Management & effective mentoring/coaching
? Maintain a knowledge bank to improve service and manage risks
? Pro-active communication and customer engagement
? SLA management in co-ordination with Service Delivery Manager
? Influence change to improve operational stability
? Appraise team members' performance as per defined process

Qualifications:

? At least 10 years of industry experience with exposure to complete life cycle of development & support
? Extensive experience of managing support teams in a dynamic and fast paced environment
? Strong understanding of ITIL processes
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong people manager
? Good knowledge of industry standard project management and operational methodologies
? Ability to operate largely independently, with minimal guidance and monitoring
? Appreciation and knowledge of technologies used within the project.
? Good client relationship management skills
? Ability to lead and motivate the support team
? Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
? Self motivated, flexible, responsible, and a penchant for quality
? Ability to manage a team of project leaders/technical specialists, analysts and systems developers
? Ability and experience to apply new skills / additional information acquired in relation to role
? Ability to prioritise own activities, work under pressure.
? Team player with commitment to achieve team goals
? Motivated, flexible and with a 'can do' approach
? Delivery and results focused
? Excellent written and oral communications skills in English. Experience and ability to do business communications
? Able to speak and understand Japanese language
