Responsibilities:

• Lead & develop the APAC Global Trade and Trade Compliance Organization
• Drive regional projects, process optimization and standardization in close coordination with other Regional Leaders
• Develop and implement regional processes and governance, allowing risk associated with all trade compliance areas to be reduced
• Contribute as a key member of the Global Logistics Leadership Team, Global Trade Leaders and Trade Compliance Steering Team
• Ensure appropriate Internal Trade Compliance Program is implemented, reviewed and maintained in the APAC region. Monitor key industry, legislative and regulatory changes, assess the impact to the business and provide a recommendation if required to improve the reaction or resolution of the market
• Build relationships with Business and Supply Chain Leaders that can benefit from capabilities and knowledge of the Global Trade team
• Manage Compliance Risk while balancing the needs of the Business
• Advance functional maturity while creating value for the Business

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in international trade, logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or at least 7 years of equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in organizing, leading and developing a high-performance team
• Experience in organizing or leading internal compliance programs or global logistics
• Knowledge of trade regulations in the Asia Pacific region, particularly China and Japan.
• Demonstrated ability in building relationships, influencing with stakeholders and internal customers in a global organization
• Demonstrated experience driving to solutions and creating structure to solve complex problems (Implementation results with Teams)
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically with strategy implementation experience
• Excellent English language skills is a must, with proven experience working in multinational teams and environments
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally

Desired Qualifications:

• Industry knowledge of Global Trade and Managing Trade Compliance, US ECCN, Export and Re-Export Control knowledge
• Experience with Global Trade Management systems (GTM)
• Solid experience in handling AEO/CTPAT certified process and interacting with government authorities or agencies in a trade compliance context in the Asia Pacific region would be an advantage
