Advanced Specialist Parts Quality Management (KIFA QMT)

Tasks

Conduct problem solving process, supplier evaluation and ensure the purchased parts meet the specification, continuous improvement process, reduce rework time, claim costs and financial loss from rejected claims

Key Responsibility

- Responsible for participation of supplier development and industrialization with MC-6, onsite support for LC supplier to resolve urgent quality problems

- Responsible for supplier requalification and GS95004 audit (diagnosis on components warranty parts) in terms of all necessary supplier audits of PZS (Process Series)

- Responsible for support plant QMT to evaluate the 8D report from supplier in B2B portal, find out the root cause and long-term solution for quality issues from LC supplier side

- Responsible for evaluation supplier work performance according to the company requirement every three months. Take lead for the LPKM evaluation from quality side in B2B portal

- Responsible for leading or participation in LC projects development and industrialization in terms of quality insurance, process alignment across the plants and technologies of BMW AG.

- Responsible for steering PMP (Problem Management Process) with PQM system (from status 60-90) in B2B portal, analysis the root cause and develop the precautionary measures to ensure the component quality.

- Responsible for management LC supplier project, including supplier relocation project, capacity increase project, technical change, deeper location, etc.

- Responsible for the sustainability and continuously components quality of LC supplier, follow up and reporting the supplier quality status to management side by weekly.

- Responsible for implementation of RMT system, make sure the LC supplier maturity assurance.

- Responsible for being the interface of plant QMT and LC supplier, get online quality information from plant QMT, support to analysis the root cause and development the long-term solution from LC supplier side.

- Responsible for leading the supplier escalation process in BBA, and support to resolve the escalated supplier quality issue timely and effectively. Meanwhile, responsible for the meeting landscape of escalated supplier.

- Responsible for filling in the weekly quality report, monthly quality report, score card, defects of 100 vehicles, Werksinfo, critical issues effectily and timely, ensure our management side have a clearly overview about supplier quality performance.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field knowledge business administration and supply chain management.

- Automobile product knowledge.

- Skilful of 5 core tools (VDA6.3, FEMA, MSA, SPC, 8D), TS16949/ISO 9001.

- Familiar with automotive parts manufacturing process.

- Professional knowledge including quality control, problem analysis, manufacturing process, cost analysis, supplier quality assurance.

- Strong conflict solving skills.

- Familiar with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

- Good command of written and spoken English.

- German skills are a plus.

- Comprehensive experience in parts quality management field, 4-6 years

- Experience in quality control, problem analysis, manufacturing process, cost analysis, supplier quality assurance field, 4-6 years

- Sound knowledge of the use of Quality Techniques and Failure Analysis / Risk Analysis methods, 4-6 years

- Detailed knowledge of Basic Statistical Process Control, 4-6 years

- QMS Requirements VDA 6.1; VDA 6.3;ISO 9001; TS16949, 4-6 years
