This role will be in support of new product development and ensure Contract Manufacturer readiness for high volume production. Technical lead for manufacturing operations at multiple vendors and sites. Responsible for production development processes, documentation, optimization and validation to ensure continuous improvement of yield, UPH, production quality, capacity and operational efficiency metrics during sustaining production. Performs and develops failure and data analysis techniques to make recommendations and implement product, capacity and / or assembly process changes

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in operations engineering activities
• Demonstrated technical skills and experience, preferably wearable device, smart phone, personal computer, consumer electronics, networking or other technology-based industry sector, including a detailed understanding of FATP.
• Direct experience working functional engineering teams (IE, ME, EE, TE, DFx etc)
• Understanding of both ME and EE, and able to deeply discuss technical issues with Engineering team.
• Experience in using process driven and analytical approaches to problem-solving (Six-sigma, 8D, FMEA, etc)
• Proven bottom line project management experience (Planning, Cost, Delivery)
• Experience in working with OEM partners for Eng. management or project management
• Proven strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and drive closure to issues across a multi-faceted, matrix organization
• Experience in Display or RF&wireless technology in factory environment will be a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
