Overall we need a Operations Manager/Project manager who can stay organized to meet the project goals, and manage a team, as well as organize the production environment to be more efficient. Need a Mechanical Engineering background and experience with product manufacturing management. The main goal of your first year will be to work with the CEO to set of a complete set of operations procedures, document it, and train all production people how to work in that system.

• design review, DFM

• make BOM

• supplier audit, communicate our requirements to suppliers

• make and manage documentation

• quality management, write the quality standards

• manage the schedule and keep it updated

• manage suppliers

• find the problems and solve them

• make process instructions

• train the workers to follow the process

• when not busy, also may do some original design work

  Preferred to have experience with injection mold design, CNC, electronics manufacturing.     

Examples:

medical treadmill: supply injection molded and thermoformed parts

coronavirus hand protector: original design, produce injection molded parts, assembly, final packaging, ship to client

original product: a simple mobile phone

 Hospital UV sterilization light: supply extrusions and die cast parts 

Work environment:

• Main office is in Guanlan, Dashuikeng

• 6 people in China and another 3-4 engineers in different countries. 0-15 assembly workers depending on how busy production is.

• 6 day workweek

• take off all Chinese state holidays

• The Leader is a foreigner who worked in Silicon Valley and went to Stanford.
