Academy of Continuing Education (ACE)

(Duration: 2 years, renewable)

The HKUST - Academy of Continuing Education (ACE) is established to provide professional education and training to upgrade the talent pool of the region. It will deliver high-quality learning opportunities with an international focus, serving as a professional training center for executive education and knowledge-sharing on the latest technology and industry developments. It will host short courses, workshops, seminars, and support joint initiatives, and industrial collaborations.

ACE is seeking a capable individual with strong business development and marketing skillset to fill the position of Manager. The appointee will assist Director to devise strategies to grow ACE, identify and develop self-financed training and educational programs meeting the industrial needs in the region, and work with HKUST Shenzhen - Hong Kong Collaborative Innovation Research Institute (SHCIRI) to build a network with industries and professional organizations. He/She will assist Director to coordinate various outreach efforts.

Applicants should have a recognized bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of work experience. The appointee should have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and good marketing and management skills. He/She should be able to work under pressure independently and flexibly in order to meet tight timeline. The ability to liaise and interact well with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be a good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese is required. Working outside normal office hours may be required. The appointee will be located in Shenzhen.

We offer a competitive annual salary of RMB 300,000 to 500,000, which will be commensurate with your qualifications and experience.

       香港科技大学在2011年至2016的五年策略发展计划中，进一步确立了加强在内地发展的宏伟策略。深圳研究院将紧紧围绕这一策略目标，紧密结合深圳及珠三角产业发展要求，深入开展产学研项目服务，为大学前沿科学研究成果转化和与工商界的合作提供新的平台，协助大学达成促进国家经济与社会发展的使命。
