About the team

The team is responsible for the construction, implementation and supervision of software development and maintenance for Zound’s headphones and speakers. 

The role

The primary responsibility is for developing software test plan, tacking test process and reviewing test report.

What we’re looking for

Zound is now looking for a software test engineer to join our R&D team in Shenzhen to support the software development for headphones and speakers. 

Roles & responsibilities

- Work with Stockholm, ODM and the 3rd party to support embedded software development, maintenance, validation and release for BT headphones and BT/smart speakers.

- Work with internal and external team to define or review the test plan (e.g. test cases) of FW/APP/UIUX for Bluetooth/ANC headphones and Bluetooth/Smart Speakers. 

- Lead the firmware verification/validation test for BT headphone and BT/Smart speakers for local markets

- Lead the maintenance program for headphones and speakers’ Firmware/app for local markets.

- Track the test progress and review the test reports from ODM or 3rd party and follow up the debugging till closure.

- Others assigned by department head. 

Requirement:

- Bachelor or above in computer science or electronic engineering.

- C/C++ and Linux development experience for audio products (e.g. BT/ANC headphones and BT/AI speakers)

- Have strong software development skills and know-how for software development process practice.

- Work independently and multitask effectively with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.

- Good written and spoken English skill.
