Responsibilities

· Develops and leads the initiatives of Supply Chain analysis, network design and implementation that enables Walmart Global Sourcing strategies of new business models and new growth opportunities.

· Supports the Global Sourcing and Global Logistics leadership team in the creation of long-term Logistics strategies that support growth across OMNI channels for all retail markets.

· Leads research and development in Global Origins to continuously innovate and enhance logistics solutions and resource deployment to support end to end supply chain visibility and efficiencies for Walmart

· Manages relationship with internal stakeholders to ensure continuous engagement for innovation and application of logistics solutions to enable capacity, service and Every Day Low Cost.

· Responsible for fostering an environment where associates respect and integrate company standards of integrity and ethics into all practices.

· Responsible for developing and maintaining a highly skilled and engaged workforce, succession planning as well as leveraging skills and capabilities of new and existing talent

· Leads research, analysis and development of origin Supply Chain solutions across Asia and EMEA origins to enable the strategy of growing e-Commerce and emerging business categories/channels in all retail markets.

· Builds up the capability within Global Logistics teams in all origins to implement solutions and the capability of managing routine operations of new business models.

· Leads innovation initiatives, provides recommendations and plans of Supply Chain network design and logistics solutions for new business models that are tailor made to enable OMNI channel/category strategies.

· Drives operational compliance with Global Logistics processes, systems, and constraints.

· Drives communication, collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders, internally and externally, to deliver customer-focused, cost efficient solutions.

Promotes and supports company cultures and standards of ethics and compliance.

Qualifications

· Outstanding judgment / decision making / analytical / measured risk taking / planning and execution / sense of urgency.

· Good knowledge of eCommerce and its network planning

· Solid experience in international supply chain logistics and operations

· Seasoned negotiation, influencing and people skills

· Solid numerical and analytical skills with high attention to details

· Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Good command of project management with track records of delivering innovative Supply Chain design initiatives

· Solid leadership & coaching skills

· High standards in personal and professional integrity

· Effective in working in a matrix environment

· Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of modern ERP systems is an advantage

· Experience in implementing/managing logistics operations within FTZ/BLP is a plus

· Experience in managing packaged and/or fresh food logistics is a plus
