We are seeking to hire one Legal Trainee to join Great China legal department. This position will provide day-to-day support to Sr. Legal Counsel who is supporting Signify’s system and services business in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. 

  

What you'll do…

·        Assist legal counsel in preparing bidding application documents and other project sales documents;

·     Assist legal counsel in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and legal document (project agreement, strategic agreement, guarantee agreement, etc.) as well as developing templates of contracts and other legal documents;

·        Assist legal counsel on legal research and enquiry with government authorities (if needed);

·        Assist legal counsel in documenting internal rules and procedures, and preparing and providing legal and compliance trainings to business teams;

·        Collect material and provide with legal team periodic legal updates on new legislations (e.g. civil law, anti-unfair competition law & anti-bribery, advertisement law, company law, data privacy, e-commerce, product quality and litigation etc.)

·         Other specific assignments

What you'll need…

·         Bachelor of Law degree

·         interested in business related legal affairs

·         Detail-oriented. self-motivated and willing to develop business acumen and commercial sense

·         Cooperative and a team player who is willing to learning both from business team and legal team.

·         Ability to communicate effectively and explain legal issues in a simple way

·         Bilingual, able to review and translate legal documents in both English and Chinese.

·         1-2 years’ post-graduation experience (especially, in a law firm and/or in-house legal department) is preferred but not required.

·         PRC Judicial Certificate is not a must but a big plus.
