Job Description

Responsibilities:

?To work with internal departments to achieve the client’s requests and all the technical issues including mechanical construction, artwork design and tooling issues etc. 

?To make the construction design and come up with drawing concerning the issues of material selection, reliability, safety requirements, manufacturing process, functionality and unit cost to meet the product specification etc. 

? To be responsible for critical parts/material sourcing 

? To communicate with clients to confirm product specification, feasibility and technical enquiry of the design. 

?To work with PIE, Production and Quality Department during pilot run and mass production ensure smooth transition from product design to production.

?Manage the planning, budgeting/cost control, monitoring, assessment and documentation on design projects to ensure smooth and effective execution of the plan

? Engineering documents preparation 

? Report to Manager for daily operations and resources control

Requirements:

? Degree Holder in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Mechatronic Engineering 

?At least 8 years relevant working experience in product design of plastic and sheet metal with Creo and project follow up 

? Independent, responsible, self-initiative 

? Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin 

? E-cig product experience is an advantage 

? Good experience of plastics and metal products fabrication process

? Solid knowledge in design trends and innovative design materials

? Design of E-Cig and consumer electronic products

? Able to work under pressure and deal with challenging situation with strong problem-solving skill

? Strong communication and presentation skills, (English required or desired.)

? Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing startup environment.
