Power & Sensors System
Power & Sensors System (PSS) semiconductors play a vital role in enabling intelligent power management, smart sensitivity as well as fast and reliable data processing in an increasingly digitalized world. Our leading-edge power devices make chargers, adapters, power tools and lighting systems smarter, smaller, lighter and more energy-efficient. Our trusted sensors increase the context sensitivity of "things" and systems such as HMI, and our RF chips power fast and reliable data communication.

In your new role you will:

• Keep your eyes and ears in our fast moving local high tech community
• Watch the latest news, observe and understand new trends in audio
• Test, reverse engineer and analyze the audio chains of the latest smart phones, wearables and hearables in our local audio lab
• Understand the underlying system architectures and identify the major subcomponents
• Identify new or emerging applications relevant for our future business and give regular input to our application roadmap
• Define future product requirements and value drivers
• Influence our product roadmap in close collaboration with our headquarter in Munich
• Support go to market activities from a technical perspective at our customers and international conferences

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• You are passionate about the latest electronics devices and trends and feel comfortable to engage in deep technical discussions. You know how to balance the customers' requirements and the interests of Infineon. Above all, you are a team player and like to cooperate across boundaries in an exciting international environment.
• What else do we expect from you?
• A technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Acoustics or similar
• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the field of mobile & consumer applications
• Working experience at FAE/AE system application area preferred (i.e Samsung/LG working experience)
• Solid knowledge in at least one of the following fields: audio sub systems, MEMS, or Analog or Digital ASIC design
• Self-drive and willingness to take responsibility within Infineon
• Intercultural competence and advanced communication skills
• Fluent English and Korean language skills
