What contribution will I make to Helen of Troy?

The purpose of this position is to supervise the team in packaging development. Deliver packaging projects on time and on quality. Maintain packaging consistence per guideline, meet quality standard and requirements. Provide technical solutions on packaging. Train and upgrade the team on technical skill.

What you’ll be doing?

- Manage packaging project from concept to mass printing as per production schedule.

- Work with overseas Marketing & Creative teams to manage packaging development, artwork production and approval.

- Manage information flow relating packaging smoothly and correctly and on timely manner among all relative parties

- Ensure packaging suppliers reach our requirements and quality standard. Including mock up/white box sample, press proof, pre-production sample and printed packaging

- Raise any potential packaging related problems, identify root cause and provide solutions. Provide technical support to the team.

- Manage workload of the team and resources allocation.

What are the requirements for consideration?

- Bachelor Degree in Packaging, Printing, graphic design or related discipline

- Good knowledge of packaging, printing (pre-press, printing & post-press)

- Min 6 years relevant working experience in Packaging or Printing industry

- Solid experience of artwork creation and photo retouching

- Good experience at artwork trouble shooting and quality control

- Familiar with Microsoft Office software

- Proficient with design Software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.),

- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese / Mandarin

- Effective communication with overseas party and factory.

- Detail orientation, responsible, proactive attitude and be organized
