Job requirements:

Education : Electrical engineer with knowledge in EMC and mechanical fields

Further training : Specialization in EMC and commercial fields

Professional experience : Construction of EMC filters and electrical measurements in-house and at customer's site

Special qualifications : Mother tongue Chinese with good oral and written command of English

PC application skills (Office, Internet, measurement EMC, CAD)

Familiar with EMC applications in Industrial, Medical, Automotive (EV) and Renewable Energy segments.

Knowledge of EMC standards and safety regulations including approval process

Scope: Development of innovative technologies (calculation, construction, samples, production of technical documents, preparation of measuring protocols) for EMC products including new development and/or modifications of existing products.

Management of development documents.

Technical support to sales (including on-site measurement) in finding appropriatecustomer solutions.

Responsible for the EMC measurement laboratory including instruments management.

Important inputs: Request for offers, feasibility, product development.

Request for sales, production or quality support EMC.

Main tasks: Development of new products or modification of existing products as defined by customer requirements or SCHURTER Product Management (calculation, sample construction,production of documents, preparation of measuring reports, production of documents and samples for approvals).

Conduct product evaluation studies with provisional price calculation (preliminary calculation) or final. Provide technical support to sales and liasing with customers including presentations where necessary and resolving engineering and quality control issues.

Provide engineering support for production and quality assurance at the factory.

Construct protypes involving TES (construction and documentation), TEU (UL laboratory).

Manage project releases, prototypes: (results zero series and/or customer feedback) and document release.

Inform immediately the person concerned if: - the objectives set cannot be met

- exceptional situations occur in the day to day working environment or absences.

Management of the EMC laboratory.

Travel (cost effective) as required.

Coordination and involvement in multiple projects simultaneously.

Important output: Products, finished prototypes, ready for series production or for specific use.

Proposals for solutions with provisional or definitive calculations.

Maintain efficiency of the EMC laboratory.

Continuous suggestions and proposals for improvements.

Customer satisfaction.
