1. Project ID design

2. Mechanical design using ProE or Solidworks

3. To complete mechanical design together with hardware engineer or outer solution company

4. To complete tooling DFM with tooling supplier (metal or injection tooling)

5. Mechanical parts approval based on 3D

6. Mechanical assembly evaluation based on T1 and mechanical design update

7. To optimize mechanical design after T1 or client feedback

8. To complete the technical documents: BOM/ to define part name and number in BOM/ 3D/ 2D/ exploded drawing….

9. Assembly test and process evaluation with supplier

10. Reliability test and product verification/validation follow up with supplier

11. Design change notification process if necessary

12. Tasks arranged from USA office

Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree in mechanical Design
2. 8~12 years working experience in consumer electronics or medical device for mechanical design

3. To know the process milestones of new project development: concept design to mass production : ID design/3D/2D/BOM/T1 test/ optimize design with tooling shop etc.

4. To have knowledge about material options of mechanical parts: injection plastic/ metal/ rubber others

5. To have knowledge about manufacture process: painting/laser etch/silkscreen/CNC

6. To have experience to work with Electronic engineer during mechanical design and assemble the trial samples for testing.

7. Good English communication skill: listening/speaking/reading/writing.

8. To be proactive on each step of mechanical design and be a team player.

9. Can-do attitude to complete a project within an assigned time and cost.
