i. The Company

Based on CIMC container, vehicle, machinery, and logistics, CIMC iTECH has developed series smart systems, including hardware devices, communication channels and data platforms. Providing complete intelligence and security solutions for traditional transportation equipment and satisfy the fast and convenient demand of cargo safety, modern logistics, and global trade for the next generation of transportation equipment. CIMC ITECH is undertaking government projects and establishing industrial standards.

ii. The Role – Technical Operations Manager

Covering the global market of container owners, terminals and BCOs, you’ll need to be familiar with our full range of products as well as supporting overseas customization service. For this position, you’ll be undertaking:

l Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance.

l Develop database architectural strategies at the modeling, design, and implementation stages to address business or industry requirements.

l Optimize databases to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.

l Develop data models for applications, metadata tables, views, or related database structures.

l Set up database clusters, defense, backup, or recovery processes.

l Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.

l Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.

l Prepare documents needed by customers or required by order processing.

iii. For this Technical Operations Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

ü University graduate. Major in Computer/Electrical related preferred. Master’s degree preferred.

ü High English level. Excellent written and verbal communication. CET6 required(For Chinese candidates). Overseas studying/ working experience preferred. Excellent writing and speaking skill in both English and Chinese.

ü Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

ü Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/ software, including applications and programming.

ü Familiar with office software (PPT, WORD, EXCELL,VISIO).

ü Familiar with data base management system software (Oracle PL/SQL , MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, Teradata Database).

ü Familiar with data base user interface and query software (AWS, SQL, Microsoft Access, Oracle JDBC)

ü Familiar with web platform development software (JavaScript, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3), operating system software, and Program testing software.

ü Working experience in shipping or IoT industry preferred.
