Brief description of the position:

Independently manage the complete back end process of the electronics category

1.  Product development

a)  Packaging development

     i. Laisse with in-house designer and customer.

     ii. PDQ development

b)  Product development

     i. Laisse with in-house MQA and customer

2.   Supplier management

a)   Arrange samples

b)   Price and payment term negotiations

c)    In cooperation with sourcer judge new factories on their technical and production capabilities, eventually decide which factory to place orders with

d)   On time delivery

e)   Supplier compliance.

3.   Final responsible for the following tasks

a)   Order follow up

       i. lace orders with the factories, Shipping, Inspection of the goods

b)   Sample collection and shipments

c)   New product development

      i. Packaging, Product specification, QA standard

d)   Customer’s goods inspection

4.   Assisting in sales activities

a)   Recommend new products in the market

5.   Customer Inspection

6.   Profile requirements:

a)   Independent, organized and responsible

b)  Team player

c)  Good interpersonal skills to work with overseas buyers and vendors

d)  Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

e)  Technical knowledge of consumer electronics and its production

f)   Willing to travel on regular bases to factories

g)  Experience in working with retail inspectors

7.   Experience

a)   6 years working experience of which at least 1-2 year in a senior role working with buying offices or directly with major retailers in electronics.

b)  Strong network of existing suppliers in the above mentioned categories
