Responsibilities

· Coordinate timely communication and supply recovery actions between suppliers and  Sourcing Team

· Conduct on-site audit to evaluate suppliers' manufacturing performance against plan.  Areas of focus include but not limited to cell manufacturing, pack assembly, and general SOP.

· Gain deep understanding of unit cost drivers and CapEx by working closely with suppliers’ factory team

· Drive suppliers’ factory team to compress equipment/component readiness schedule and hold suppliers accountable to report actual status vs. plan.

· Conduct cycle-time audit during NPI builds, propose target labor count by process

· Closely monitor the ME / design requirements for the proto build and ensure the costs remain streamlined for proto stages

· Act as DRI to coordinate all supply gaps and provide real-time updates. 

· Work with CM partners and/or distributors to resolve any part shortages or quality problems which affects build and production schedule

Minimum Qualifications

· BS degree

· 5+ years work experience in sourcing or related fields associated battery cell and pack

· Experience in factory audits and manufacturing

· Material management and CTB (Clear to Build) proficiency

· Strong verbal and written communication skills
