PRINCIPAL  RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Relationship Management:  Manages customer service relationships, externally and internally:  Act as key relationship manager for all customers and ensure a superior level of communication from the plant team be that daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly as demanded by the customer and situation

 Internal Management & Support:  Leads the cross functional Customer Focused Team (CFT) for sustaining business. Provides support to the sales business development and program management teams on current and future new business

 Order fulfillment:  Coordinates the sales order fulfillment process to deliver on time, at full quantity, and optimal costs in-line with contractual agreements across the 3 sales organizations relevant to Longgang.  Ensures the Customer Service team processes customer orders efficiently, evaluates product availability, and communicates with customers in an exceptional manner. Liaises with customer on liability and disposition of excess material as per contractual agreements

Analysis and Forecasting:  Monitor and expedite orders to ensure product is shipped according to customer due dates.  Analyze purchase histories, prior transaction records and current inventory levels for forecasting purposes

Problem Resolution:  Investigates and resolves complaints and problems of varying complexity regarding order fulfillment (backorders, late shipments, pricing, etc.) internally and externally

 Continuous Improvement:  Implements solutions in regard to process improvement and cost reduction within Customer Service

Reporting:  Participates in the regular management meetings by providing accurate decision-making information related to customer service, and contributing ideas

 KPI’s:  OTD to customer requirements, customer satisfaction, revenue

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years related customer service experience in a leadership position, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment

Working experience in an international organization

Direct customer contact experience in automotive and/or electronics industry preferred with experience/understanding of the electronic manufacturing processes.

Exposure and experience with IATF 16949, ISO9001 systems.

Excellent English communication abilities.

Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with careful attention to detail.

Customer program management and strategic approach abilities

The ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

 Superior presentation and facilitation skills for customer and management planning presentations

Knowledge of inventory management and logistics

Extensive experience using ERP/MRP systems for customer order processing

Able to multi-task a variety of projects and changing priorities in a dynamic environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in resolving customer issues

Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, motivational, time management and communication skills

Ability to resolve conflict and deliver difficult feedback when required

Demonstrate excellent attention to detail while multi-tasking

Exhibit professional and courteous etiquette in all situations
