Irwin Rotational Lining (IRL) is the world’s leading manufacturer of prefabricated polyethylene lined carbon steel pipelines for vessel retrofits such as Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS) and Exhaust Gas Management Systems (EGMS).   IRL is the fabricator and we fabricate to isometric drawings provided by our customers which include customers from dockyards, shipping companies, oil and gas, mining, chemical and produced water industries.  IRL exports their products globally so this position may also be based globally.

IRL is searching for a Piping Sales Engineer that can sell our PE lined carbons steel products to new projects, customers and industries.

The candidate must:

1. Be a mechanical, chemical or marine engineer with an understanding of pressure and welding codes
2. Know how to cost a job
3. Know how to create a sales proposal
4. Be outgoing and personable

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Experience in managing a sales process in a CRM like Hubspot or SalesForce
2. Previous experience as a sales engineer in a similar technical industry

What the Piping Sales Engineer will do:

1. Optimize our structured sales process
2. Manage a lead generation team
3. Identify new markets and applications for our products
4. Conduct cold calls.
5. Create quotations
6. Create sales proposals
7. Coordinate with Production Dept on sales forecasting
