概述: 

软件测试工程师II的主要职责是通过精确地深度测试以保证软件产品交付时的高质量。此工程师需有一定的软件测试背景，熟悉不同系统平台上（Windows, Android, iOS, Web-Based）各类软件产品的测试方法。此工程师需能依据产品需求文档设计并执行手工和自动化测试用例，分析测试结果，并依据测试结果反馈产品的改进建议。此工程师向资深工程师或项目负责人汇报工作反馈问题，但应具备能力独自完成大多数的测试任务。 

 

职责： 

 

• 依据产品的需求文档进行测试设计，并在资深工程师的指导下编写测试计划。 

• 依据测试文档的要求执行手动或自动化测试用例。 

• 学习并掌握自动化测试工具，编写自动化测试用例，提升测试效率。 

• 按时按质完成分配的测试任务，养成良好的测试习惯，记录并维护测试结果和测试报告。 

• 在资深工程师的指导下对复杂问题进行分析并寻找问题根本原因，协助开发部门定位问题。 

• 熟悉缺陷管理流程，用缺陷跟踪系统来报告缺陷并给出修复建议，在开发部门修复缺陷后验证并关掉。 

• 协助开发、测试过程中的工作流程改善。 

• 有可能需要不定期参加和外籍（美国）同事的项目会议。 

  

要求：  

• 计算机、软件工程、网络通信工程或相关专业的本科学历（或以上）。 

• 熟悉各类操作系统如Windows, Android, iOS, MacOS, Linux，熟悉软件测试方法，3-5年(或以上)软件产品测试经验。 

• 至少熟悉一种程序语言或脚本语言，有C#/Java编程经验者优先。 

• 至少一年软件产品的自动化测试经验，理解自动化测试理论，熟悉Robot Framework, Selenium, Appium等自动化测试工具者优先。 

• 有软件测试工具开发经验，或SDK API接口测试经验优先。 

• 有打印机产品测试或打印机相关软件产品测试经验者优先。 

• 有一定网络知识背景，熟悉交换机，无线路由，服务器配置或有一定实验室设备管理维护经验者优先。 

• 有效的英语口语和书面沟通能力。

** This is a project base positino, period of project would be 1 year**

Software Validation Engineer II is responsible for delivering quality, well-tested software into Production. The ideal candidate will have printer and printer driver experience, Web, Windows, Android, iOS applications experience, and automation test experience. This Engineer will be responsible for creating & executing automated and manual test cases. 

The engineer will Analyzes test result to ensure software product functionalities and recommends corrective actions. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. The engineer will interact with his or her supervisor as needed, but most of the test activities will require independent thoughts and decision making.

Responsibility:

 

• Develop test plans with guidance of senior level engineers.
• Develop test cases based on requirement document.
• Execute manual or automation test cases based on test procedure.
• Familiar with bug management process, report bugs in bug tracking tool and validate & close bugs after resolved by Engineering.
• Perform moderate to complex root cause analysis with support from Engineering. 
• Complete test projects in a timely manner. Assist with process improvement and automation projects.
• Perform complex data analysis. Document results in test reports and presentations.
• May participate in meetings with Engineering in US. 

Qualification:

• At least bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering, network engineering or a related field.
• Familiar with software testing methodology and process on different OS, including Windows, iOS, Android,  MacOS, Linux etc.
• Familiar with printer products or printer related software products testing is preferred
• At least 1 year of automation test experience, familiar with Robot Framework, Selenium, Appium is preferred
• Familiar with at least one programming language, C#, Java or Python is preferred
• Experience with Test Tool Development or SDK API test is preferred
• Has network background knowledge. Familiar with switch, wireless AP and server configuration.
• 3~5 years or above experience in software product testing
• Should be able to communicate in English effectively (Oral and Written)
