Product Manager - Mobile Accessories 

Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about developing and manage world-class mobile accessories that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment in our R&D and manufacturing facility in LongHua, Shenzhen China. Our specialty is to develop and maintain a whole range of mobile accessory products for own and OEM brands.

Responsibilities

1. Manage products for our ODM brands. Currently two brands where each brand have a range of 2-10 product groups. 900 SKU in total.

2. Have close contact with a couple of key customers to find out their needs and based on that what products we should develop.

3. Be responsible for taking the product all the steps from idea to shippable product.

4. Deeply involved in the rollout of new products to make sure it goes according to plan.

5. Keep a close eye on the progress of each product and take corrective action if it is not according to plan.

6. Identify and fill product gaps and generate new products before customer asks for it.

7. Develop cost calculation and suggested pricing.

8. Keep a close eye on market trends and what our competitors offer.

Requirements:

1. Proven working experience in project- or product management for a European/U.S company.

2. Need to be fluent in English, both written and orally.

3. Need to understand how Europeans think about mobile accessory products. (ex: what details matters and what do not, and why).

4. Need to have basic knowledge of raw materials (leather, plastic etc.) and manufacturing processes (injection molding, stamping etc.)

5. You are very hands on. You do not need supporting persons to get the job done.

6. You have no problem using MS Excel.

7. Strong problem solving skills .

8. Need to be able to identify and understand the unspoken demands from our customers in Europe.
