Essential Function 1:  Occupational Safety Management (30%)    

1. Monitor, collect, analyze and interpret the legal requirements for occupational safety.     

2. Implement state and company law\regulation\standard concerning occupational safety on all Clariant sites.     

3 Support all BUs in making out, revise and evaluate the exist/new/modified occupational safety procedure.     

4 Interaction with Corporate occupational safety head and site SEO as regional occupational safety expert.     

5 Provide technical support for GC sites, labs & projects on occupational safety and general risk assessment.     

Essential Function 2:  People Safety Program (30%)    

1. Establish people safety program based on legal requirements, internal standards and industrial good practices.     

2. Train, roll out and monitor achievement of people safety program on all Clariant sites.     

3. Lead implementation of AvoidingAccident@Clariant program in appointed GC site(s).     

Essential Function 3:  Audit and Training (20%)    

1. To be a regional audit-team-member to conduct QESH audit assigned by Corporate ESHA.     

2. To be a regional audit-team-member to conduct ESH audit for local supplier/tolling as per requests from BU/SU.     

3. Training and knowledge sharing on occupational safety & people safety to both internal & external parties.     

Essential Function 4:  Other activities (20%)    

1. Internal ESH standards (GLs,GUs) translation, distribution and necessary training concerning occupational safety.     

2. Backup site ESHA officer of Shanghai HQ office.     

3. Assist routine work of RSRA ESHA team.
