Description :

-Contribute to the conception of the client offer: participate in the program team from the offer conception phase/Pre-Requisition For Quotation Approval (RFQA), and involve expert suppliers in the Pre-RFQA phase.

-Ensure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify , in accordance with the commodity buyer, and consult suppliers. Negotiate or participate with the commodity buyer in supplier negotiations and the final choice of supplier.

-Direct performance follow-up during the program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and in particular ensure that the program phase reviews, or gate reviews are supported within the framework of the Program Management System (PMS).

-Ensure early involvement of the plant buyers in the program before the series phase.

-Manage specific mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have/be:

-Masters degree in engineering with a specialisation in international purchasing

-Minimum 3 years experience as a Program Buyer in an industrial environment

-Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills

-Ability to work in a matrixed organisation

-International mind set, overseas experience a plus

-Minimum bi-lingual (English mandatory)
